Russian minister sees MC-21 first flight in several weeks
MOSCOW, May 4 (PRIME) -- The first flight of Russia’s new plane MC-21 can take place in several weeks, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters on Thursday.
“Soon this year. This is a question of several weeks,” he said.
The medium-range passenger aircraft produced by aircraft maker Irkut was presented in June 2016. The first deliveries to customers are scheduled for late 2018.
